File Sharing You can transfer files to other users at any time, even if that user is currently offline. To transfer a file to another user, drag a file from your desktop or Media Library, and drop it onto the user’s icon. The following panel will appear to make sure this is what you intend to do. If you choose OK, the file will get transfered to the server and the other user will receive a notification.

When you receive files from another user, a status indicator appears in the Contact Window above the Files tab indicating how many files you have received. Notice in the window below, the number ‘2’ appears above the Files tab indicating that Bill has received 2 new files:

Switching to the Files tab reveals a list of files that you have received from other users, but have not yet retrieved. If you select a file with the mouse, the red tint will disappear and the file count will drop, indicating that you have acknowledged receipt of this file.

Downloading Files

To download files from your inbox, you can select them and press the download button (shown to the left) which will allow you to download the files to your specific location using a system file chooser.

You can also drag and drop any file in this list directly onto your Media Library or the desktop of your system.

Deleting Files without Downloading

If you do not wish to download a given file, you can drag it into the trash can at the bottom of this panel, or you can select it and mouse click the trash can icon.

Media Library

You can open your media library by pressing the Media Library button (shown to the left).
